One of the proEME contributions at the Electric Vehicle Symposium 32 in Lyon was a paper and presentation on how EV incentives are affecting EV uptake

Steven Haveman of the University of Twente presented a paper at EVS 32. The paper was co-authored with J. Roberto Reyes García, Marlise Westerhof and Maarten Bonnema, also of the University of Twente and Rob Kroon of Fier Automotive. The paper and presentation focused on a thorough review of how incentives are evaluated and then showcased a relational model that highlights the pathways of different incentives towards EV uptake from different focus areas. It was highlighted how such a model can and should be used to reason about the usefulness of incentives.
