The first Belarusian prototype of electric motorcycle has been developed on the base of known model MINSK-125 by JRS “Instrument Making Plant OPTRON”. The new model was shown to press for test-drive at 05th februrary this year.

To develop an electric motorcylce, belarusian engineers took the frame of
MINSK-125 and renovated the motorcycle by installing batteries and an electric engine. The seat as well as the steering wheel, the wheels and the fork in the front are maintained from the original MINSK-125.

The conspicusous green colour stands for ecology and green technology. Everyone will notice that during daily city traffic. It is as quiet as electric vehicles and it’s maximum speed is 150 km/h. How much such an electric motorcycle will cost isn’t revealed yet.
